Fun For All: Recap

Even nasty, icy weather couldn't keep us from gathering with friends and neighbors to reclaim January 20 – exactly two years since the Trump inauguration – in the spirit of goodwill, community, and inclusion. We had a festive sing-along, circus fun and lots of art activities that were loved by kids and grownups alike. City Councilor Matt O'Malley cohosted this great community event – and gave a super-generous match of up to $500 donated to Kids in Need of Defense (KIND). All told, we raised close to $1,500 for this incredible organization… a number that certainly would have been larger were it not for the ice storm that made traveling to Fun For All such a challenge. Hopefully we won't butt heads with nature next time around!
